Community Impact
The Pima Early Education Program has been making a difference in local schools throughout the county. See how this program is making a difference for Tucson Unified School District here.
CARES CRF was used to support businesses throughout Pima County. 271 grants, totaling over $3.2 million, helped keep small businesses open and provide meals through local food pantries. Many local restaurants used the funding to support expanded outdoor seating, hire/re-hire staff, increase operational support, and enhance COVID-19 mitigation strategies. Food Pantry Support allowed for expanded provision of food boxes to individuals and families, facility modification to increase storage and distribution points, as well as enhanced coordination of resources with other non-profits.
