County Plan and Plan Flexibility
Pima County has spent all of its Coronavirus Relief Funds, and has just begun spending its American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (ARPA CSLFRF) allocation. In August 2021, County Administration submitted its tentative plan for ARPA fund spending. This plan is subject to revision by the Board of Supervisors over the four-year lifespan of the grant. As progress is made with some initiatives, or as the pandemic persists and other areas of relief and recovery are identified, the County may reallocate some of these funds in response. In December of 2021, the Board approved a revision to the original scope of work related to the grant that aligned the projects closer to the ARPA CSLFRF guidance.
Pima County has created and submitted the first expenditure report to the US Treasury. The next quarterly report will cover January through March 2022.
